Challenge Yourself for: 30 days

With the sun setting later, this is great way to end the day. You don’t need to go very far - just a stroll around the block is all it takes to get some light exercise and fresh air. If you invite a friend or two along you’ll get good conversation too. Challenge yourself to end dinner with a treat - getting outside. _(When logging progress for this challenge, only log as many days as you participated the activity within the 30-day timeframe.)_

I have been waking the dogs in the evening around 7:30pm, so that the sun is not blaring on us. The dogs look forward to this walk as well as the morning walk. Hopefully it will help make a difference.

I walk my dog about 30 minutes which is a great way to meet my neighbors doing the same thing. Also it’s relaxing and helps me sleep better.

A walk after dinner is a nice way to end the day.

Now that it’s staying light longer, I am adding a 20 minute walk each evening to my routine. It helps me to burn off steam and feels good, even if I’ve already had a workout.

Took the dogs for a walk with the family tonight. Enjoyed the outdoors and the brisk spring weather before the rain came along.

My husband and I walk the dogs nightly after dinner. If it is raining or cold, we make it a short walk. It is a great way to help digest the food, reconnect with nature, and each other. It is a great way to talk without feeling any pressure. My husband seems to naturally open up about anything and everything. This walking has also kept our dogs at the right weight and healthy. Highly recommend the after dinner stroll.
