Here are some tips for eating with this season: • Munch on summer fruits or veggies like berries, melons, summer squash, and tomatoes • Shop at your local farmer’s market for the freshest foods • Learn to make a cold soup like gazpacho • Party with festive accents like homemade salsa, fruit salad, grilled fish-kebabs, and smoothies

I love summer, not only because of the warm weather and no school, but because we can use the grill! Grilling is so healthy and so delicious too my family usually grills chicken or shrimp or veggies! Plus I love all the fruits of summer.

Last fall I found out where all the local farmer’s markets in my area were – this summer I’ll actually visit them!

I always look forward to summer when many fruits and vegetables are in season. We are already eating fresh green beans from our own garden. And we’re looking forward to the tomatoes (if the bugs don’t get them first.)

It’s strawberry season. We picked 3 quarts today. This along with watermelons and cantalops have become part of our weekly eating habits.

I’m bucking the system, but I’m grilling lots of great meat/fish and eating great produce as well as my high fiber Kashi products. No sugars or white flours at all. Keeping the blood sugar low seems to work the best for me.

Eating healthy-er foods has helped with feeling better, and its quite a difference. I’ve been going to the French Market by my house on saturdays, they have great food!

I see a difference already, just from putting more veggies in my diet and taking out some other not so good things for my body.

been eating lots of nuts, salads, and veggies lately. cut back on the red meat. still have to drop soda completely but while i’m at work i only drink water.. which is great because it’s a pretty stressful sweaty deal most of the time. my complexion has improved and i find that my immune system can stand up for itself a lot more lately.

This is a great challenge! I’m studying in Italy right now, and the tomatos are like you wouldn’t believe! :) We actually just went to the market this afternoon and got tons of fruits and veggies.

Drink water, eat organic foods, eat vegan cheeses, eat tofu, and stick on more healthier foods.
