When was the last time you not only shared a table with your father, but also cooked him a meal? Sometime this month, make an effort to cook a meal for your dad. Surprise him with a finished feast or converse over the slow cooker.

Ever since my mother passed away 2 1/2 years ago we have my dad over for dinner 1-3 times a week. He will be over for dinner tonight and I am cooking a meal this time instead of my wonderful husband!
I enjoy the company of my dad. We share time together every week.. at least one afternoon. Sometimes we go out to eat so we do not have to do anything but talk, sometimes I will cook for him so we can have something nostalgic for our tastebuds.
