Learn about grilling responsibly

Summer’s here, so lots of people are getting ready to picnic, grill outdoors, and entertain. Before doing so, it’s a good idea to know about preventing food-borne illness. Here are a couple tips: • Wash hands • Separate raw and cooked food • Marinate meat in the fridge only • Cook food thoroughly • Refrigerate and freeze food promptly • Keep hot food hot and cold food cold Today, challenge yourself to learn some basics about food safety. _(We’ve given you 2 days for this challenge. When you log your progress, you only need to log as many days as you think are applicable.)_

    I am always trying to make progressive changes as far as my diet, health and family are concerned.

    I grill 3X wk in summer…love it! Hate illness..So, I always follow SAFE grill. practices! thanks 4 helping keep people aware!

    this is regular practice for me. Big Grilling night tonight. Marinade in the refer. Grill getting a good cleaning this morning.
