Save power and turn off the tube!
Nothing but violence on TV anyway. I’ll just get my scores from the newspaper instead of SportsCenter. I’m looking forward to seeing if I can do this and get my family to join me.
I’ll try this challenge, but I mostly would just have to turn the TV on for 5 minutes to the Weather Channel to see what I’m going to wear. The weather has been so unpredictable, I have to see the tempature before I get dressed.
I feel better when I am doing something besides watching t.v. I want to have fun with my family and do some exercise.
I’ve had more time to play with my kids and have fun.
i’ll try it! im a college student, so it should help me keep my head in the books!
I went outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather.
You know, I have been watching less TV (besides the food channel) but I think cutting it out all together for a week would be awesome! to much junk on the TV anyway, i much prefer the outdoors.
I don’t think I’ll have a problem with having the TV turned off, but I usually spend more time on my laptop, so we should have a challenge like that…spend less time on the computer!
ME AND MY KID’S JUST STARTED TO WALK. WE GO EVERY NIGHT YOU FEEL SO GOOD KNOWING YOUR DOING SOMETHING GOOD FOR YOURSELF.
i am going to watch less tv and walk my shih tzus more often…they sleep better too….good idea 8)
it’s amazing how much you can accomplish when the tv isn’t luring you away
I started doing this when I relized I was watching up to 3 hours a day.
Spring has finally sprung and I will definetly be outdoors more, sun power is great…
i feel unproductive with the tv on…i use it only for music and movies at night. i actually put a pole in the middle of my living room so thats way more fun than tv!!!
There isn’t even anything worth watching on TV so I don’t even have cable. The only thing I watch are movies from Netflix about once a week. It won’t be a problem to give it up for 7 days.
I know I’d feel better if I didn’t veg out on the couch. A week is a good start!
I find I don’t sleep well if I watch TV before bed. A TV-free evening means a restful night.
WoW! this morning I went for a 2.5 hour hike with my friend and our 3 dogs on the west end of the island-it was soooo beautiful, even though we ran into a buffalo- were gonna sleep good tonight!!!
I am living a TV-free life! I cancelled my satelite cable months ago! I love it. ;)
i cant even consider this one a challenge..way to much to do outside..my kids actually like it when the tv is off..we are more interactive.
How can this be a challenge when the weather is so beautiful outside
I recently had my cable turned off b’cos i was addicted! Yes, this is a little extreme, but i know myself & i wouldn’t just turn my tv off! I’m ready for the challenge :)
The tv is off:)
