I can tell you everything in my pantry – even where it is. It’s wonderful to have a photographic memory for some things!

I just went through and organised my (3.5) shelves of food items according to food group and put bulk foods into glass jars. (I like the look of the cornmeal, oatmeal, popcorn, and rice all lined up) We also (five of us) just set up a small table in the dining room for our fresh fruits and veggies, getting what we termed “the produce aisle” off of our eating/studying/working/talking space.

You just gave me a reminder of what I was already planning on doing as my next house project. Go through my cupboards! My main clutter I will be ridding myself of will be unused appliances and pots/pans, etc to make more space. It will be refreshing. Time to get the donations to the Goodwill ready. :)

I try to give our pantry and thorough once-over about every six months or so — it really helps to keep things from getting “lost”.

I had to reorganize and restock the cupboards because all of my cbinets have been replaceed when the Kitchen was remodeled. I find it Amazing how many Items that I had kept, spent good money on, and didn’t use. And now that I have a different lifestyle, I gave many of the “other food items that I no longer eat away.

I just went through my cupboard, and tossed out some old chips I had in the back. Clean living from now on!

I went through mine last night. I have been on a stocking spree and needed to get it all organized and inventoried.

Every six months the post office here has a food drive and places a reminder card in the mailbox with 5 days notice. It is a wonderful way for me to keep on top of my cupboard staples and to stock up and give to the food drive.
