Today, plan out your exercise routine for the week making sure to include several different activities. I recommend eating a lot of chicken, lots of protein in chicken. It’s seemed to help me. Keeping active with activities like mountain biking, jogging, snowboarding, helps keep your metabolism up. I’m hungry almost every 2 or 3 hours but with high metabolism, your muscles soak up those nutrients while being able to burn calories easier.

After struggling with burnout due to years of slaving away under high expectations during my years of competitive running for several years, I’ve considered finding a lower-intensity, much more enjoyable way to stay fit and active. Today I invented a new sport for myself called “trotting,” which is a mixture of easy, bouncy jogging interspersed with occasional walking, leaping, and skipping. Although it was very hard to do, I decided to throw away the “no-pain-no-gain” attitude that I’ve harbored for so long. It’s going to take a while to adjust to this new approach, so please support me!
