Limber up
Ever sit up in bed in the morning after a good night’s sleep, stretch your arms above your head and yawn? Well, if you haven’t you should try it. It feels fantastic. But then, stretching feels great no matter where you do it. And it’s good for your health, too; stretching has been shown to strengthen joints and prevent injury.
Sometime in the next 24 hours spend 10-15 minutes gently stretching your whole body.
Always consult a physician before starting any exercise routine.

What’s the Crow? I’ve been doing the stress relief yoga DVD with Dr. Baxter, but also stretching and Z-health to keep my joints mobile—otherwise I get stiff.
I reminded myself to stretch for a few minutes before my morning and and before going to bed. So far it’s only been one day, but I think it made me sleep better last night.
I try to do yoga every morning before I start getting ready for work or for whatever I do on the weekend. A book I found helpful was the 10-Minute Miracle by Barbara Currie—the first chapter shows how to do a simple 10-minute yoga routine, and the other chapters get progressively more challenging and focus on different parts of the body. It also has the history of yoga, its benefits, and a diet plan that she encourages her yoga students to follow. A great book, especially for me when I was just starting.
mmmmmmmmmmmm that feels good
