Practice sun salutations
Sun salutations are a great method for loosening up in the morning and kick-starting your day. If you’ve never heard of them, they’re a yogic practice of 12 postures performed in a single, graceful flow of movement. Each individual movement is coordinated with the breath, which means that as you stretch you inhale and as you fold you exhale. Practicing sun salutations helps you build strength and increase your flexibility.
This week, challenge yourself to practice 3-5 sun salutations every day. See if you feel more energized.
Always consult a physician before starting any exercise routine.

Where do I find how to do the Sun Salutaion?
I found this great online video that shoes you all the poses and explains them in detail:

Me and my roomate are taking yoga class a few times a week together. We have noticed such a difference in our mood, and flexiability
I have found that if you do this excercise or any relaxing excercise right when you get up, before you get ready for the day, you feel more awake. Then it is not so hard to keep away the rest of the day. The only hard part is getting yourself up to do them.
I also like the following site for salutation examples and explanations:

@jenmurphy: Ooh, I really like your link too! Nice find.
I just started doing Ashtanga yoga, which is pretty fast-paced. I feel like I could really use some practice with sun salutations because you do a lot of them in this yoga practice.
