Make time for you

Many of us spend our days rushing from activity to activity with precious few moments to really stop and enjoy small pleasures. Today, make an effort to break that cycle.

Challenge yourself to schedule 15-30 minutes for yourself sometime in the next 24 hours. Plan to wake up early if you have to. Then, spend that time doing whatever it is that you always wish you had a few extra minutes for—even if it’s just daydreaming.

I really need this right now. Too much stress from work and school. :(

Yes! I got in that reading that I’ve been wanting to do at home! I won’t tell you what the baby did to my desk during that time but oh well, I did something I’ve been wanting to do for months now!...and it feels pretty darn good.

I try to take 5 minutes for my self every morning. Usually it’s just sitting up in bed listening to the whatever is happening outside. This really helps me get my day started, If I miss my 5 minutes my whole day it thrown off.

I usually take 30 minutes to myself in the morning (4:40am to be exact), I sit in my living room; TV OFF, enjoying a cup of green tea. When time is up, I hit the tread mill, and before I know it, it’s 6 AM and everyone else is up in my house. If I don’t get those 30 min of solitude and silence * IT will be an ugly Day !

I try to make time for myself everyday usually by playing a computer game. I hope it helps my mental and physical well being.
