Reduce your office paper use
Ever find yourself lamenting the stacks of discarded paper in your office? Even though they’re in the recycling bin, sometimes it just doesn’t seem like it’s enough.
Today, try to reduce your paper waste by avoiding the printer or photocopier altogether. When you must make copies, try making them double-sided. And when you print something out, see if you can print on the back-side of paper meant for recycling. Another idea is to inquire if it’s okay to take some discarded paper home to use on your personal printer.

I reuse paper at home by printing on the back side of older memos.
I also use emails and the scan option to save. -
For years my children have been using recycled paper from my husband’s office for their artwork. He put a box next to the recycle bin, with a note explaining what the paper would be used for, so his colleagues could avoid putting in private or sensitive materials. We only use “clean” paper for special school projects or birthday cards!

We do the same thing. We cut our paper in half and make “notebooks” of scrap paper. If you have a machine just for faxes, you can turn your junk paper over and use it again for faxes.

Instead of throwing sheets of paper away, I use the back of the paper to write notes on to fax to co-workers at other locations. I can’t see using a brand new sheet of paper for this.
