Try a new tea

If you’re a tea drinker, you probably drink the same tea most days of the week. After all, when we find something we like we usually stick to it.

The great thing about tea, though, is that it doesn’t take a lot of effort to break this habit. Teas are readily available in local coffee shops. And some of us may even have a few different types of tea already at home for our guests. Since new studies are emerging all the time on the various health benefits of black, green, and white teas, it’s a good idea to broaden your tea horizons.

Today, if you’re a tea drinker, challenge yourself to try a new tea. Or, if you’ve never been a tea drinker, make an effort to drink tea instead of coffee. You never know when you’ll discover a new taste you really enjoy.

What has really been interesting for me is that not all green teas taste the same. I went to a shop in Chinatown and got some cheap green tea that kinda tasted like seaweed. However, I bought some Tazo green tea that had a little mint added and it tasted amazing! It’s interesting to learn that quality and the tea manufacturer’s blend can really make a big difference.

My favorite tea is Tazos Passion tea—it is flavored with Mango, Lemon, and Hibiscus leaves and it is pink—it is very interesting!

I enjoy hot, green tea most of the time. I recently purchased another box of tea that was supposed to ‘ease tension and stress’ but have yet to try it. Since I am making a list of all that stresses me today(another challenge) I am about to go and try the Tension Tamer tea.
