Swap sweets for seasonal fruit

When we think of sweet treats, we often imagine decadent and sugary desserts. But there are lots of delicious options that are healthy for you too.

Today, when you’re craving something sweet, challenge yourself to reach for a seasonal fall/winter fruit instead. When fruit is in season – like the ones listed below — they’re usually incredibly juicy and satisfying.

• Apples
• Clementines
• Grapefruit
• Kiwi
• Kumquats
• Oranges
• Pears
• Persimmon
• Satsuma oranges
• Tangerines

This was so easy. I adore fruit, but sometimes forget how good it truly is… which is easy to do with all the goodies out there. Try this one, you may rediscover a long, lost love

This is my fourth day doing this and I feel so good. My husband even decided to do this with me… as a lifestyle change. It’s guilt free which makes enjoying it all the tastier! Yum

I already love apples and oranges, but I decided to try clementines and kiwi. Very tasty!

I think high quality organic fruit is so much more luscious and delicious than any candy. and it makes you feel great.

This is not that easy but I feel so much better since we started. My kids LOVE fruit but also love sweets. They are learning that sweets are for “special” things and fruits can be just as sweet and tasty. We also love going to the farmer’s market and my son gets to pick out what he wants. That way we are getting the freshest possible and supporting local farmers.
