Measure out snacks for the week
It’s easy to lose track of how much you’re eating when you snack. Grabbing from a bag of nuts or box of crackers, you usually have no idea how much you’ve eaten. A great technique for avoiding this habit is to pre-portion your food into serving-size baggies. To do this, look at the Nutrition Facts Panel on the side of the food’s packaging and find the amount of a single serving. Then, get out your measuring cups.
Today, measure out your snacks for the week into single servings. It may take a little extra time, but it’ll keep your snacking healthier in the long run.

I make small bags of Kashi Go Lean for my grand children to take when we go to church. they need a little snack about 1/2 hour into the service and this tides them over until we can get OJ after Church.
I just started this morning to not just only measure single portions but singles with high fat, i divide in 2 just the same. I also put some tea bags in a little tray which i stock in the fridge for those snackish moments.
I love all the Kashi products, especially their healthy granola bars. All of their products are delicious and healthy for you.
Love the Kashi granola bars – the trail mixture cereal mixed into a small container of yogurt – a snack size baggie of cereal …. all are perfect to carry in your bag or to keep handy around the house.
