Get out of your comfort zone
What makes you feel shy? Ever feel like there’s something you just can’t do because you don’t want to embarrass yourself? Sometimes, we fear doing things that we actually might enjoy.
Today, make an effort to do something you’re afraid of. Sign up for a public speaking class, go to dinner by yourself, talk to someone at work you’re intimidated by. Whatever it is, conquer your fear. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build your self-confidence and feel great.
I am moving away from someplace I’ve lived for 16 years and have developed a very active lifestyle and friends to a larger city where I know no one except my grown children. Moving by myself has definitely taken me out of my comfort zone.
I am in the process of finding and starting a new job, this will be a great opportunity to remove myself from my comfort zone.
