If you have trouble with being vegetarian, put a piece of raw steak in different liquids such as vinegar, coke, lime juice. Put some plastic wrap on it, after about 4 days take it out and look. bet you’ll be a vegetarian for atleast 2 weeks.

I’ve been a vegetarian for a year. I don’t drink milk either, but I do occasionally eat cheese or ice cream. I feel great every day. I spend three hours in the gym and follow it up with 3 1/2 miles of running outside or bicyling. I have maintained my high school weight of 115 through my first year of college, but I am much more toned than I was and am getting my 6 pack abs back. Being vegetarian has renewed my interest in cooking because I try so many new things. It’s really easy to be a vegetarian when you realize how much better it is for you, animals, and the world!

Plus, Silk Very Vanilla Soymilk compliments any Kashi cereal wonderfully!

Going vegetarian has really helped my arthritis improve. I also have a lot more energy and can think clearer.

I’m thinkin about becoming a pescetarian, that is eating only fish and shellfish, but i don’t know. Right now i do eat alot of fruits, and veggies, and soy products- we’ll see.

I recently began trying to eat vegetarian three days a week, then realized how easy it was and I wasn’t missing out on any non-vegetarian meals. Now I eat vegetarian everyday and only have white meat two or three meals a week. Its all about educating yourself!

I’ve been a vegetarian for a year and a half now and I can’t imagine going back. Veg for a day is no problem! Now I just have to work on becoming vegan. Milk and eggs find there way into so many vegetarian products.

I do meatless meals all the time. So this is easy for me. If I could just convince my husband that meatless is still a meal I would be well ahead of the game! Must be the Iowa farmboy!

Up to 3 days a week now. At least it’s progress. The toughest part is figuring out the “hidden” ingredients in my favorite low-cal snacks. No Jello? I never really thought about things like that before. But an apple is a better choice than a little carton of Jello.

Its totally easy to go vegetarian ‘cause protein from an egg white omelette, or scramble, or anyway you want to eat eggs, or fortifying pancake batter w/ cottage cheese is just fine. But no, I”m not vegetarian, but every once in a while i DO get sick of meat. :o)

I’ve been vegetarian for almost 10 years now. It just sort of happened because I really didn’t like to eat meat and then I realized I wasn’t eating any meat. I do eat eggs & milk products though. I love being meatless! I don’t know if I could go without the milk & eggs though

This suits me fine. I’m having meatless chilli for dinner anyway, and have only eaten fruit, yogurt and salad with nuts so far today. Not a biggie because we go meatless at least once a week anyway. Maybe I’ll try more then one day next week.

Going meatless 4-5 days a week makes it so much easier to maintain a good weight. There are so many options now for meatless meals that I don’t really miss it (too much).
