Buy a better bra
Bras minimize jiggling and support breasts during sports activities. They can also help prevent tissue injuries in field or contact sports, and help you achieve good posture. Regular and sports bras work best if they fit well. Many women are wearing the wrong size, sometimes because of changes in our bodies over time. If you have discomfort, spillage over cups or behind straps, too-tight straps, or gaps anywhere, you’re probably wearing the wrong size bra. Today, challenge yourself to either get a professional fitting at a department store, or follow these tips when buying a new bra:
• Measure yourself under the band and around the breasts to gauge projection.
• Nothing should be too tight or too baggy; watch for wrinkles or the back of the band riding up in back.
• Try on clothes with your bra to see how it looks and fits.
• Don’t be afraid to ask a fitter or salesperson for help.
