I also play the piano, and this has always been a way for me to unwind. I can play different types of music depending on my mood!

I love playing some music before bed. I have my mp3 player and I get in bed and just play music until I get tired, then I take off and go to sleep. It really does calm the mind, and inspires my imagination to work. lol. :)

On a day like today, I needed a challange as refreshing as listening to music. It gets inside me, right into my veins, and is so renewing. I hope everyone enjoys this challenge as much as I have.

I have problems sleeping. I use to always put on easy listening music right before bed and it helped me to unwind enough to go to sleep. I’d forgotten this until I added this challenge to my list. Last night I had the music on. It was the best night of sleep I’ve had in a very long time.

I have not had access to my music. My music is my serenity. It’s also what I use to ramp me up when I work out. I keep a few GnR and Ozzy CDs of music on my music player. I have comedy, pop, rap and classic rock depending on my moods and it’s great to be on the bus and hear a great joke from Carlin and laugh out loud on the bus and everyone is staring at me. I cannot do without my music :)

Every day I play music, whether it’s online at work, on my car radio, home stereo, or laptop, I’m usually plugged in to some type of music. It definitely takes an edge out of my day & helps me to stay joyful, especially when listening to country or christian music. The best Chesney song that really helps me to unwind if things are getting heated in the office is his song “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem” There are lots of great lines in that song!

=)

I have always appreciated all forms of music and what I listen to changes with my mood. I have sung Classical and World music since I was old enough to form words (since my grandfather was a professional guitar player and got my sister and I involved in his practices). Currently, I am in a music appreciation class and learning some of the history of the music style and of the Baroque and Classical composers has really given me a deeper appreciation when I listen to their music. It has also shed new light on how music has evolved and, even now, how that music influences today’s artists. I express myself through music, and when I feel stressed out by kids, school, or work, I know I can get away by just turning on the radio!

Music has always been one of the single most powerful means to change my mood and lift me out of a head filled with too much worry for its own good. I enjoy a wide scope of music. My favorite genre has always been hard rock and heavy metal. Music comforts, enlivens, and comforts me and always seems to uplift me out of a stagnant emotion. Music makes me want to dance, sing, and sometimes even just settle down with a cozy blanket and a good book. Classical music is my favorite background for studying and I like to listen to world music when I am doing some creative art project. Since I love music so much, it’s essential that I learn how to make my own music as well. I play guitar and I’m currently dabbling in piano.
