Turning Frowns to Smiles at the DMV!

What could be worse than standing in the longest line ever at the DMV on a Monday morning? Standing in line in the rain!!! So Bethany and I decided to go spread some Kashi love there today. We donned some of our favorite Kashi gear and embarked on a morning adventure. Who knew that a TLC® Ripe Strawberry cereal bar could bring a smile to even the gruffest looking driving test instructor’s face? Perhaps that yummy TLC® Pumpkin Pie Fruit and Grain Bar that one of our new friends gobbled up helped them ace their written test today.

Who knows, but we had a great time sharing our anniversary celebration with our neighbors, and making a dreary day just a little bit brighter. It was fun to tell them how we were founded twenty-five years ago in nearby La Jolla Shores beach, just a few miles down the road, and to laugh at how silly I looked in my Kashi cape.

When was the last time you wore a cape? No, seriously, when was the last time you took a little step to make a less than ideal situation a little more fun?
