My husband and I were in our car leaving the grocery store one evening, and we spotted a young man, probably in his twenties, walking into the grocery store. He was carrying an empty box of
Kashi® TLC® crackers and a small carton of milk. We were admiring his camper van, and it was clear to us, by the looks of his van, that he was traveling all over. He had bikes tied to the back and surfboards strapped to the top of the van. My husband and I guessed that he was living simply, and enjoying all of the opportunities that life on the road provided.
After he went into the store, I stuck a bunch of Kashi coupons on his window for his future travels. I loved the fact that he clearly was on a budget, but valued a little TLC!
We’re all operating on a budget these days, and know how appreciative we are when strangers offer up their kindness and generosity. What is one way you’ve spread a little kindness and generosity lately?
