Everybody knows that going to the Post Office during the holidays can oftentimes mean long lines. While we can expect to wait and watch people wrap up last minute gifts, what we don’t expect is for someone to be handing out free goods!

I had actually forgotten about these crazy, long Post Office lines until I went 4 days before Christmas and was pleasantly reminded. As life is such, those in line were impatient and likely irritated that they had spent the better half of their morning waiting in line. So I thought to myself, here is a perfect opportunity to spread some Kashi goodness and get some smiles on these otherwise glum faces! I grabbed boxes of TLC® cereal bars, the perfect snack — especially in the morning, and handed them out to some very surprised and appreciative folks.

And guess what... smile they did! What can you do to get those around you to smile in otherwise stressful or less than perfect situations? It is amazing what a little gesture of kindness and TLC can do to start the day off right!
